Current Northern Ireland Seniors Individual Champion Sam Newell will be running a Pool Competition in the Kingfisher Bar, Bangor every fortnight, starting this ***SUNDAY the 19th SEPTEMBER***. Players will be given a handicap before the Competition starts. The 1st round is a race to 5, with each round increasing by a frame up to the Final which is a race to 9. Free food midway through the Competition will be supplied by the Kingfisher Bar, who are also donating money to boost the prize fund. The innovative handicap system should add some spice to the matches. If a player on a -3 handicap draws a player on a 0 handicap, the player on -3 must reach 8 frames before his opponent reaches 5 in a first round match.
