Irwin victorious in Seniors Tour Finals Day

Congratulations to Dee Irwin who has just won the 2014 NIPA Seniors Tour Finals Day
On a great day of pool in the Primacy Sports Bar, Bangor he survived two real scares before potting the final eight ball off the Competition to lift the winners trophy and a healthy £400 top prize. The Runner Up on the day playing some of his best pool ever was Neil Campbell and only for a horrendous kick on his second last yellow the title would have probably gone to the rock steady Ballyclare man who took home £250. Both players had pulled off amazing comebacks on their way to the final. Campbell trailed 1-6 to Coleraine's Billy Moore and came back to win 7-6 and Irwin trailed Lee Caulfield also from Coleraine and also by 1-6 before storming back for a spectacular win.
