2020 AMATEUR & INTERMEDIATE EVENTS






Hi all. Please find the details below of our new Events for 2020. We will be starting off with two separate Series, an Amateur and an Intermediate played on the same day in Reds, Ballymena and the Q.Club, Larne respectively. An Elite is also planned depending on player interest.
AMATEUR & INTERMEDIATE EVENTS

PLAYERS ~ A/B1 Standard players = Amateur. B2/B3 standard = Intermediate.
PAYMENT ~ Each Event is paid for individually to give players more flexibility, so no large upfront payment.
COST ~ If paid 4 weeks in advance (2 weeks for Event 1) = £25 per event + £5 registration. Inside 4 weeks = £30 + £5 registration
FORMAT ~ Randomly drawn groups, not seeded by player ability. Last 8 & 16 races to 5. Semis & Finals races to 6
HANDICAPS ~ Maximum handicap in Knockout Stage is +1
EVENTS ~ Stand alone Individual events, no Finals Day or Ranking Table
MEMBERSHIP ~ All players must be NIPA Associate Members (£15 per year from September 1st)
PLAYER STANDARD ~ A player may be promoted or relegated between Amateur and Intermediate at Committee discretion
LATE ARRIVAL ~ Players will be deducted one frame for every five minutes late in arriving and another frame for every five minutes thereafter
