Our B2 Team (pictured right)played another Friendly Match in the run up to Bridlington today Saturday 14th March. A Carrick League select team were the opponents with the match taking place in the Glasgow Rangers SC, in the picturesque seaside town of Whitehead. The match was over 4 sessions of 13 frames and our B2 team ran out 27-25 winners. Session scores as follows (Carrick first) 8-5, 3-10, 6-7, 8-5
Best performers for the B2s were Jonny Thompson on 4 from 4 and Tom McCorry & Paul Roberts both on 3 from 5. It proved to be another useful excercise for Derek Whiteside's newly formed B2 team before they enter the arena that is Bridlington Spa. An individual Knockout Competition after the match was won by B2 player, Declan McMullan from Kircubbin.
