Darren Sterrett's, McBees team have won the Shooters Summer 6s Pool Competition.
In an exciting night of Blackball in Bangor,
they made their way to the Final where they convincingly beat Shooters Sharks 5-1.
It started well for the Sharks with Terry McDowell putting them 1-0 ahead, but McBees took all the remaining singles frames with wins from Ed McDowell (break & dish), Neil McKelvey, Darren Sterrett, Lee Hull and Eric Sterrett to lift the trophy and the £1200 winners prize. In the Plate Event Alex Irwins, Ballbreakers took the £400 winners prize beating Mark Marsh's CD Club 5-3 in the Final. Kenny English (McBees), scooped the "Player of the Tournament " award and the £100 prize that went with it with 9/12 singles wins and 8/10 in the doubles.
