Ronan retains

A big well done to Ronan McCarthy on retaining the Northern Ireland Seniors Individual Championship title in the 147 Club, Omagh on Sunday 16th December 2012. From an entry of 30 cueists, he had a couple of scares along the way including trailing 1-3 to Brian Crilly in the Quarter Finals. But the longer the day went on the stronger he became as he added the Seniors NI title to the Mens NI title that he won last month. Congratulations also go to to Runner Up Mark Stockton on reaching the final with some fantastic Pool, including a 6-4 Semi Final win over the 2011 Seniors European Individual Runner Up, Stephen Johnston. But it wasn't to be for Mark as McCarthy was more or less unplayable in the Final sealing the deal with five 8 ball clearances in the 7 frames he won.
