Ranking points will also be earned at the Mens Northern Ireland Individual Championships on Sunday 24th November (Lodge Hotel, Coleraine)

 TOUR IS NOW THE MAIN SELECTION VEHICLE FOR SELECTING MENS INTERNATIONAL TEAMS

Payment -  To guarantee a place (up to 48 only) full £100 must be paid before 28th February or a £50 non refundable deposit before 28th February. with the remaining £50 to be paid on the day before play starts. No exceptions.
Players joining Tour after Event 1 - A player may join the Tour as a full member after Event 1 by paying the £100 entry fee. £80 of this will be used as payment into the remaining 4 Tour Events with the surplus £20 used as entry into the first Tour Event of the next calendar year.
Prize fund - At Events 1-5 each Winner wins £300, each Runner Up wins £150, Semi Finalists win £75 each and Quarter Finalists win £40 each. Prize fund dependant on a full entry of 48 players. If full entry not achieved then payout will be revised before Event 1 starts and any player wishing a refund can have one. If more than 48 entries are taken then the prize fund will increase proportionately.
Ranking Points - Tour Events 1-5 will carry the following ranking points. Winner 150 points. Runner Up 100 points. Semis 75 points. Last eight 50 points. Last sixteen 40 points. Last thirty two 30 points. The Mens Northern Ireland Championships will also carry ranking points for every player who enters down to the last 128. Points are the same as Events 1-5 but with Last sixty four receiving 20 points and the last one hundred and twenty eight receiving 10 points.
Time slots - All Events with the exception of Event 6 will be given time slots for players convenience
Players International Fund - £750 from total entry fees from all Events, along with monies from any fundraising activities such as ballots, will be deposited into a Players Fund. Only players who qualify for an automatic team selection spot will receive a travel subsidy for International events they attend.
Running costs - £200 from total entry fees from all Events will be witheld to cover running costs for the 5 Events
Tour Committee - The following players have been selected onto the Tour Committee. Rab McCullough, Ronan McCarthy, Damian Corrigan, Davy McGurn and Stephen Johnston. They will liaise with the NIPA on all aspects of the Tour.
International Team Selection - This shall be based on a players "Best 4 scores from the 5 Main Tour Events and the Trials as follows -
'A' Team (6 player ) shall consist of the NI Individual Champion, players 1,2 and 3 from the Tour and the winner of the Trials. Manager must also select 1 player who played in either 75% of total frames in the trials or in 4 out of the 6 Tour Events but failed to make any of the automatic selection spots. In exceptional circumstances a manager can have 1 total wild card. If a player cannot accept International selection, the next highest player from the Tour or Trials, whichever is appropriate, shall be offered that automatic selection spot.
'B1' Team (13 players) shall consist of the following - Players ranked 4-12 from the Tour, players ranked 2,3 and 4 from the Trials. Manager must also select 1 player who played in either 75% of total frames in the trials or in 4 out of the 6 Tour Events but failed to make any of the automatic selection spots. In exceptional circumstances a manager can have 1 total wild card. If a player cannot accept International selection, the next highest player from the Tour or Trials, whichever is appropriate, shall be offered that automatic selection spot. If any of the players ranked 4-12 from the Tour or Trials have been selected for the 'A' Team, then the next highest ranked player on the Tour or Trials, whichever is appropriate will be offered the automatic selection spot. If a player cannot accept International selection, the next highest player from the Tour or Trials, whichever is appropriate, shall be offered that automatic selection spot.
'B2' Team - TBC
Qualification - Any player who has qualified for an International place through the Tour cannot enter the Trials.
