Well done to Mens 'A' Team manager Ronan McCarthy on reaching the Semi Final of the Ladbrokes UK Blackball Open which was played to a finish today Sunday 22nd September. From a star studded field of 128 the Kircubbin man made his way to the last 4 claiming some big scalps along the way such as Craig Marsh (Wales), Andy Croasdale (England) and Simon Ward (Wales). The Competition and top prize of £3000 was eventually won by Welshman Jordan Sheppard who beat the 2010 World Blackball Champion Jason Shaw (Scotland) in the Semi Final and Dan Davy (England) in the Final.
