After a meeting in the Park Avenue Hotel, Belfast on Sunday 13th October it has been agreed to select the Northern Ireland 2015 Mens International teams as follows
MENS 'A' Team - Shall be hand picked by the Manager (selected players do not need to enter Trials), but to include an invite to NI Mens Individual Champion
MENS B1 - Manager can retain up to 6 players from previous squad from last International event, Positions 1-5 in Trials and 2 Wild Cards
MENS B2 - Manager can retain 4 players from previous squad from last International event. 7 players from Top 16 in Trials after B1s have been finalised and 2 Wild Cards. Wild cards must have played in no more than one International event.
It was also agreed that players can only enter one category of trials starting for 2014 selection. If a player enters his chosen category he is making a statement that it is his preferred choice of category to play in. If he is not selected for that category he can still be selected by another manager of a different category as a wild card in accordance with the NIPA selection procedure. Underage players can only enter trials according to their age bracket.
