Declan's a Double Champ

Hats off to Declan Duff on a remarkable achievement, the 16 year old Lurgan lad has just added the Northern Ireland Under 23 Individual title to the Under 18 title he won last month. From a field of 30, Declan made his way to the Final where he faced 15 year old Gerard McDermott from Omagh. Gerard had also played fantastic pool belying his young years to reach the Final. Both players were part of the Under 18 team that represented NI in the Nations Cup in Malta 2 weeks ago. A truly great achievement indeed for a 15 year old and a 16 year old to reach the Final pairing of an Under 23 event.
