Like a fine wine Ronan McCarthy just keeps getting better with age. The Kircubbin man strolled to the NIPA Masters Invitational title in the competition held in the Swift Bar, Carrick on Sunday 22nd June. Included in a frame count of 28-3 were three 7-0 whitewashes, Alan Johnston being the only player to get on the scoreboard against him. A very well done to his opponent in the final William Irvine. The Carrick U23 Winner played superbly all day before running into the near unplayable McCarthy.
