What a great effort from Davy McGurn. The Omagh man had made it through to the final of the World Masters Individual Championship in Perth. In the Semi Final he staged a great comeback against Scotsman Iain Gillies to win 6-5 from 2-5 down. But Pool legend Ross McInnes was relieved to get over the line in the Final as an unfavourable kiss on the black from McGurn when it was looking like going to 5-5 let McInnes in to take the title.
