It's Larne again for a magnificent Treble

It's congratulations to Larne League Interleague 'A' Team. They are NIPA Interleague Champions for the
very first time after the event on home soil in the St Comgall Club, Larne on 3rd May 2015. In one of the most exciting finals in memory Larne defeated Coleraine, with the match going right down to the last ball in the last frame, 17-16. It's a shame one team had to lose but Larne's win completes an unprecedented Interleague Treble for the town as the previous day they won the 'B' Team event and 'B' Team Plate event.

It had all looked hopeless for Larne in the Final as they trailed a rampant Coleraine 0-5 until slowly but surely they edged their way back into it and when Ellis Martin potted the 799th and final black of the two days of play a new name was to be engraved on the NIPA Interleague Shield

And finally, the NIPA would like to thank the officials and staff of the St Comgalls Club, table supplier Baizecraft and the 260 players who helped make the 2015 Interleague events another huge success
