Well done to Gerard McDermott. The 17 year old won his second NIPA Under 15/18/23 Tour on the trot at the event which was held in the 147 Club, Omagh on Sunday 18th October. But it was nearly curtains for Gerard in the group stage as he left had to win his final frame in his last match to progress. He held his nerve and duly made it through to the Knock Out stage. In the Final he met a confident Oisin Wallace who had dominated his group and fittingly it went to the deciding 7th frame and it was Gerard who once again held his nerve to run out 4-3 winner. Event 3 heads to the Q-Club in Larne on Sunday 29th November.
