It's Gareth, but only just as the IPA weekend in NI draws to a close

What a fantastic showpiece Final we had between Gareth Hibbott and Marc Farnsworth in the Professional World Series Event Northern Ireland Leg. It went the distance to the deciding frame with both players ripping out clearance after clearance.

In the deciding frame Farnsworth went for game potting a red into the middle and taking the cueball on down to open up his last two colours. But agonisingly the white scratched and Hibbott wasted no time in clearing up to scoop the title and the Winners prize of £2,000.

The NIPA Committee would like to thank IPA Chairman Kevin Barton and the 5 IPA players who travelled over and put on a top display of Blackball Pool from Friday to Sunday. Also, the staff of the Primacy Sports Bar in Bangor and the Q.Club in Larne for their involvement in making this a memorable weekend.
