This month sees the Northern Ireland Special Pool Section celebrate their 26th Festival of Pool. It debuted in 1993 when 32 cueists competed to become the inaugural NI Individual Champion
In the following years the annual event has grown dramatically in numbers with over 300 players competing in the 2018 event on 21 specially installed tables..
Originally set up as an event for people with Learning Disabilities it now incorporates competitions for those with physical disabilities and Mental Health problems.
The fantastic Lodge Hotel has become home for the Festival and the local community provide much needed financial aid by actively supporting our table sponsorship scheme.

MONDAY 16th SEPTEMBER
11.00am to 2.30pm - Physical & Mental Health Disabilities Individual Events
TUESDAY 17th SEPTEMBER
11.00am to 5.00pm - NI Championships Adult & Junior Learning Disabilities Team Events
7.00pm - Individual Speed Pool
8.00pm - Doubles featuring the NIPA Ladies International Team
9.00pm - Fun Event featuring management and players from Coleraine Football Club
