REMEMBERING CLIFF

REECE WINS THE CLIFF WILSON MEMORIAL

What a great day we had up in Racks, Ballymoney yesterday Saturday 2nd October. And at the end of the day the youngest player in the field, 16 year old Reece McCloskey from Coleraine, took home the top prize of £400. Reece also won a brand new Hainsworth Match cloth which was donated to the Memorial event by Ross McInnes from Blackball Tables Ltd, Scotland. It was a fitting win as Cliff always encouraged the youth to get involved in the sport he loved.

Well done to Dan Clarke too, the Moira man Was in fine form all day and led 3-1 in the Final but it was Reece who finished the strongest to come back for a 6-4 victory.

The NIPA were delighted to have Cliff's two sons, John and David, in attendance at the event and many a great story was relived about Cliff's passion and dedication to his local League in Newtownards and to the NIPA.

A massive thanks to all the players who came to the event and to Nigel, Aarons and their staff at Racks for their help in making it a successful day up in North Antrim.
