Derek Whiteside's Northern Ireland B2 team warmed up for Bridlington with a match against a Carrick League Select team in Whitehead, Sunday 31st January. Although the B2s started off well taking the first session by 7-4, it was Carrick, captained by Kenny English, who took the next two sessions by 8-3 and 7-4 to give themselves an overall win of 19-14. Best for the B2s on the day was Trevor Whiteside with 3/3 and for Carrick League, Ed McDowell, Paul Henderson and John McClean were also on 100% with 3/3.
