Congratulations to Carrick & District Pool League's B1 Team on winning the NIPA Interleague 'B' Team event for the 3rd year in a row. The competition was hosted by Carrick League itself in the Nortel Social Club to celebrate their 20th anniversary and Derek Whiteside's team eventually overcame a brave Larne B2 team by 17-12 in the best of 33 final. They had earlier won their group winning both matches to qualify for the Semi Final where they were too strong for Ards B1. Coleraine League managed by Willie Eakin won a nerve jangling Plate Final, beating Larne B1s 12-10. Over 170 players attended this ever increasing popular annual event with 140 different faces coming to the 'A' event today, Sunday
