MENS
In the Men’s section due to larger participating numbers it is as follows. The A Team will receive a Team fund of £300 per event for 2 events in the international year (European Championships and World Championships or Nations Cup). All retained and trial qualifying players on the B1 and B2 teams will receive £65, this will be split £30 for first event and £35 for second event in the International year. Wild cards will receive nothing. As this is the first year of retained players the Committee feels this is the fairest way of dividing the trials income. In future years it is hoped the retained players who will become retained by means of a set criteria (still to be decided with the managers) will receive a greater financial subsidy than the successful trialists. Again this is to give the players the incentive to perform to the highest standard at International events and to be rewarded for it. Above based on 64 entrants.
