Big congratulations to Ronan McCarthy. The Kircubbin man has just won the IPA 2016 Welsh Professional Event which was played in Newport, Wales on Sunday 13th March. In the Final Ronan came back from 6-5 down to beat the classy Jordan Shepherd by 8-6. Well done also to Belfast's Rab McCullough and Ballymena's Gary Clarke on their debuts in the IPA Tour which is growing all the time and attracts the top Blackball players in the game of Pool. Gary lost 7-6 in the Quarter Finals to the eventual Winner of the Welsh Open Dan Davy. Sitting at 6-6 Gary broke dry and Dan cleared.
The next IPA Tour Event is in Bradford, England from 13th - 15th May
