Congratulations to Larne B1 Interleague Team (pictured right), on winning the annual NIPA event which was held on Saturday 25th February. It's the third year on the trot a feat which emulates Carrick's success the three years previous. Hugo Manson's Larne had to beat a rampant Coleraine team in their last group match to qualify for the Semi Finals, they did just that but trailed Carrick B1s 4-8 before storming back to win 12-10 and book their place in the Final. Waiting in the Final were Coleraine again after overcoming Carrick B2s in their Semi Final and although Coleraine took an early lead Larne once again rallied back and ran out 17-13 winners. In the Plate Event Final North Down & Ards (pictured below) beat near neighbours Ards & District 6-2. North Down & Ards donated their prize money to the Northern Ireland Learning Disabilities Pool Section, a nice gesture indeed lads.
