What an achievement by Ryan Marcus. The 13 year old Larne lad is the new 2017 Northern Ireland Under 18 Individual Blackball Champion.
In a fantastic Final Ryan belied his young years to just edge out 2016 World Under 18 Runner Up Oisin Wallace from Omagh in a dramatic last frame decider for a 7-6 win.
The whole match had swung one way and the other until they were locked at 6-6. But Ryan potted a long pressure black that many players his senior would have been proud off to be crowned 2017 Champion. Well done to Oisin too, he played his part with some great clearances to make it a memorable Final.
