What a fantastic achievement by Michelle Roonay. The Enniskillen cueist has just become 2018 IPA World Ladies Blackball Pool Champion. Viewers from all over the World tuned live into Freesports TV to watch Michelle defeat 2017 Champion Collette Henriksen in the Final and bring the title back to Northern Ireland for the second successive year.
After losing the first set 1-4 Michelle took the next in a deciding frame 4-3 to take the match into a deciding set. And once again it went down to the wire but Michelle held herself together with a nerve jangling eight ball clearance in the ultimate frame to sink the final black of the tournament and lift the title of 2018 IPA World Ladies Champion.
