A Northern Ireland Ladies Select team (pictured right) warmed up for "The Masters" in Bridlington with a match against a Select team from the Carrick & District League. In the 4 sets of 9 frames match held in Whitehead, Co. Antrim the teams won 2 sets each though Carrick won by an overall tally of 23-13. Set scores were as follows (Ladies first) 0-9, 3-6, 5-4, 5-4 Best performer on the day for the NI Ladies was Mary McCourt with 3 wins from 4.
