Unfortunately due to the disruption with the airlines we have had to pull our Under 21s Team out of the European Masters in Bridlington. They were due to travel on Tuesday the 20th of April with Jet2.com but the flight was cancelled and logistically it wasn't feasible to get the team over and back again. The lads are all very disappointed as is Team Manager John McIlreavy and his assistant Ady Toner.
For the adult event our Ladies 'B' Team and Mens 'B2' Team are going by boat anyway so are okay, but our Mens 'A' Team, Mens 'B1' Team, Seniors Team and Ladies 'A' Team are all mostly flying, so we will be monitoring the situation closely.
Contingency plans are being made to travel by ferry from Larne to Cairnryan at 7.30am on Saturday morning and then down to Bridlington by coach if the flights are cancelled. The situation is very changeable so we are monitoring it by the hour and when any definite decision is made we will inform players and post it on this site.
It looks like the panic is over. All UK flights are starting again and we should be able to go on Saturday as originally planned.
