Northern Ireland Specials Teams Cup

The Northern Ireland Special Pool section held their annual Teams Cup Competition from 1-3rd February in Ballymena United Social Club. There were 2 events ('A' and 'B') and everyone present had a great time with some top class pool played.

'A' Section Final
Muckamore Abbey (Antrim) 5-3 Rathmoyle Resource Centre (Ballycastle)

This was a very evenly matched game and the scores were deadlocked at 3-3 in the best of 9 match. It looked like it would go to the deciding frame but Muckamore took the 8th to claim victory by 5-3.

'B' Section Final

Mountfern Adult Centre (Coleraine) 5-4 North Belfast Community Day Services (Belfast)

This one went to the wire with debutantes NBCDS very nearly winning the Trophy only for Mountfern to win it on the black in the deciding frame.
